Building a digital presence for a US-based tech startup, with complete responsibility of marketing its products to target customers around the world
The client, whose product was a business intelligence solution for the publisher community, was a startup with minimal presence in the market. Its targeted audience was the traditionally conservative scholarly community with whom brand trust needed to be built.
Primarily focusing on product development, the client didn’t have a set process or methodology for marketing its products.
Streamlining the digital marketing program was also a challenge because of the difference in time zones of the client’s project managers and developers.
Created a blueprint for planning, creating and executing branding and digital marketing strategies for the client’s products and solutions
Identified the market gap and created a unique brand positioning for the client
Created unique value propositions (UVPs) from the use cases, interviews with potential and beta customers, and inputs from the leadership, technology, and business development teams
Helped build a modern website, developed various marketing collaterals (brochures, flyers, presentations, videos, case studies, press releases, emails, etc.) and executed targeted marketing campaigns to create brand awareness and generate leads for the products
Brand consciousness among the target audience in a short time
Customer acquisition by leveraging the traction gained in the market
Marketing blueprint created as a result of the engagement
